We regret to advise you that Douglas L. Smith a  Firefighter from Williamstown (PA) died in the Line of Duty this morning as he arrived at the firehouse for a Structure Fire.
Initial reports were that the firefighter suffered cardiac arrest while responding/arriving to at his FD, Williamstown, Dauphin County Station #24, for a fire call. Mr. Smith was a Past Asst. Chief, President, and Treasurer. Are most sincere condolences his family, friends and to Company 24.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, July 15th at 11:00 am at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Burial will be with Military Honors at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
