Tuesday, April 20, 2010 - 1624 Swatara Street - Box Alarm 
Box 1-4 toned shortly before 2200 hours for a reported structure fire at 1624 Swatara Street in the Allison Hill neighborhood. Companies arrived with a working fire in an occupied, 2 story, twin, dwelling. Further reports indicated possible entrapment. An aggressive interior attack and search resulted in the removal of an unconscious occupant. The patient, who became alert, was transported to a local hospital. The fire was placed under control using several hand lines with fire damage contained primarily to the first floor. Box Alarm: Squad 8, Wagon 4, Towers 1, 3, Chiefs 7 (Snyder) and 1 (Talloni).
